James Savastano, Captain
A member of Llanwern Golf Club since 2001, James as was as low as a 4 handicapper but after a couple of serious operations as a spinal neurological patient, is now up to 13. He is proud to have been Captain of Llanwern GC in 2023 and a member of 2020 & 2023 Phoenix Cup teams both Home & Away. He is currently Team Manager for Welsh Schools Golf and past Team Manager of both Wales Deaf Rugby & Bath Rugby.

Derek Bird
Derek is originally from North Wales but now living near Newport in South East Wales. He has been a member of the Celtic Manor Resort, host venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup, for nearly 20 years. He is a past captain of the club and am currently seniors captain.
Derek returned to golf around 20 years ago after raising three children with his wife and has a handicap in the low teens.

Kevin Cook
Kevin is an above knee amputee, playing off 17. He wishes he could have more time for golf but he is busy grandchildren and a construction company with his grandsons but he wouldn't have it any other way.

Jeremy Evans
Jeremy is a below knee left leg amputee, and as part of his rehabilitation, he has recently return to playing golf at his local club Aberdare.

Frankie Jones
Born into a golfing family, Frankie naturally took up the game at a young age, at Welshpool GC where he now plays off a competitive handicap of 8.8. His achievements include the 2012 & 2013 Junior Disabled British Opens. He also loves to play wheelchair basketball and has played for Wales at many levels.

Mike McClarnon
Mike is a below knee amputee from Pembroke in West Wales. A member of Milford Haven Golf Club for 4 years, but just recently and have just recently moved to Rosemarket Golf Club . He has been playing golf for about 8 years and have hovered between a 19 or 20 handicap

Michael Overton
Michael (57) father of twins Luke and Olivia, is a right leg below knee amputee. His home golf club is Woodlake Park and is the Chair of Welsh Disabled Golf.

Ben Tingley
Ben Tingley is a Fiancé to Claire Bratcher who has been his partner for 4 years. He has 2 children, son Tiger is 24 and daughter Ocean is 18. Ben has been playing golf for 12 years, and his handicap is 12.1

Richard Willis
Richard has been an amputee golfer for 22 years and a Celtic Manor GC member for 21 of those. He was Captain during 2012 and his best handicap to date is as low as six and having represented his club for many seasons, he has also played on the Gwent Seniors.
